Our Beliefs

» We believe that the Holy Spirit worked with the Father and the Son to create the world. The Father gave His Spirit to make us like His Son, Jesus Christ. The Jesus Christ we know is Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. He made a wonderful promise in John 14:16-17: "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever -- the Spirit of Truth. Psalms 41:1 (KJV) Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. All through the bible we see God has a lot of interest in how the poor, widows and orphans are treated. Most times we think we don't have much so how can we be of help to others. Giving to the poor, starts from a heart of compassion. If we do not have that feeling, then it is important to pray to God for that compassionate heart. Helping the poor is also one way of storing up treasure in heaven. It is a spiritual investment, that we often ignore. God would one day look at that investment to pay us back; in deliverance and protection. There are poor people around us, so let us allow the Holy Spirit to lead us to the right people to help. For some, it is what you think you do not need that they are praying for. For instance, if you have a dress you have not worn in over a year, it means you don't really need it. If you have not found the need to wear something in 52 weeks, then you can likewise give it out. Let us start from somewhere with the little that we have. May we have the heart of Christ to do the right things.
