It is quite obvious that this generation is seeing a far serious case than the time of Jeremiah. A few days ago whilst driving, I tuned in randomly to a radio station. For about 30 minutes I was spellbound by what this so called prophet was saying. I felt sad and kept wondering why people would go to this man, because it must be obvious something is not right; then this verse came to mind. Out of necessity, desperation and spiritual ignorance, people with little or no word in them, are running to these false prophets and priests: Those who follow them love them and enjoy their deceptive ways. It is worrying because, God has given us a free will and so is looking on as people are misled into damnation. I have heard people ask, why God won't intervene in the massive false prophets movement: Sadly verses like these have the answer to that question. All we can do is pray for people to see the light, and run from them. The ultimate goal of all this deception is to trick souls into hell, whilst they make their money. Dear friend, what will you do in the end, when it is too late? Why trade your soul for solutions to your problems? Why get all your problems "solved", and lose your soul? It looks like people fear "Beware of dogs", more than the warning of Jesus, to beware of false prophets.
May we seek guidance in the word of God.
*Prayer:* 1. Ask God to show you through His word, the right men of God.
2. Ask God for discernment, so you can know how to walk in the Lord.
3. Ask for His mercy in case you are already trapped in the deception out there.
